We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to partner with our Lakeland, Florida location. In this role, you will be required to possess a proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, communicate clearly in all forms, and be customer-focused. A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The Essential Duties Of The Role Include
- Responsible for accounts payable, receivables, invoices, and collection, including month-end review and reconciliation
- Responsible for accepting and processing payments
- Liaison with key corporate personnel, regarding accounting in support of the General Manager
- Connect with customers that come into the location to deliver a one-team approach for the customer experience before, during, and after the sale
- Responsible for maintaining document and record control
- Manage and maintain office equipment, supplies, and forms
- Actively participate in cross-functional meetings with Florida Office Administrators and provide training as needed to support Advanced Work Vans
- Adhere to established procedures and work instructions as they pertain to the role
- Ensure compliance with Adrian policies and procedures
Education & Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous administrative and accounting knowledge preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is helpful
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Email and Calendar skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Standing, sitting, walking, carrying of items, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, bending, and moving vehicles
- Occasionally lifting objects approximately less than 20 pounds
Additional Requirements
- Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a "Driver" as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
