Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and professional Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are spotless and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in commercial spaces, including store fronts, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitize floors to a consistently high standard.
  • Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces (desks, countertops, light switches, door handles, phones, keyboards) and equipment in accordance with company protocols.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Uphold company standards of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity when working in client facilities.

Experience

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
  • Custodial experience is beneficial for understanding the specific needs of various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating stairs or ladders as needed).
  • Professional demeanor, reliable attendance, and a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
