About the Role

We're looking for motivated individuals interested in launching a career in home inspection. As a Home Inspector Apprentice, you'll train alongside experienced inspectors, learning every part of the process, from how we conduct inspections to how we deliver clear, confident reports to clients.

During training, you'll complete 30 parallel inspections and earn $20 per hour while you work toward obtaining your Arizona Board of Technical Registration (AZ BTR) Home Inspector license.

Once you're licensed, you'll advance to a Home Inspector Trainee or Level 1 Inspector role based on your readiness, with opportunities for continued growth and increased pay as you gain experience and certification levels.

What You'll Do

  • Train alongside licensed inspectors during parallel inspections
  • Learn to perform thorough home inspections using AJF's reporting software and standards
  • Communicate findings clearly and professionally to clients and agents
  • Develop technical skills to evaluate structural, mechanical, and environmental systems
  • Work collaboratively in the field
  • Continue progressing toward AZ BTR certification and additional industry license

  • Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation

Willingness to Obtain

  • AZ BTR Home Inspector license
  • Termite Applicator license (Arizona Department of Agriculture)
  • FAA Part 107 Drone Certification

Compensation & Benefits

  • $20/hour during your apprenticeship (for 30 parallel inspections)
