Job description:

We're seeking an ICC Special Inspector to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a leading materials testing and inspection firm, we provide critical inspection services for various structures throughout Arizona.

The role of the ICC Special Inspector is vital in ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and regulations. Inspectors will be responsible for conducting field inspections, maintaining accurate records, and writing detailed reports on their findings.

This position requires effective communication with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned on project specifications and compliance requirements. In addition to inspections, the ICC Special Inspector will also play a key role in training apprentice inspectors, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning and development within the team.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-focused environment and possess a strong desire to learn new skills while contributing to the success of our projects. The position is based in Phoenix, but inspectors will provide services across various locations in Arizona, including Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Yuma.

Candidates should have the necessary certifications and a strong educational background in engineering or construction management. We are looking for individuals who are safety-focused, disciplined, and self-motivated, with strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field inspections of various structures throughout Arizona.
  • Maintain accurate records and write detailed reports on inspection findings.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and project managers.
  • Train and mentor apprentice inspectors.

Requirements

  • ICC certification for concrete, masonry, and post tension.
  • ACI Field Certification.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • CWI Certification is a bonus.
