The Plumbing Apprentice will support our plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and opportunities to develop a long-term career in the plumbing trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply lines, waste drainage systems, and related fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.).
  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Identify plumbing materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support plumbers in troubleshooting plumbing problems and performing necessary repairs.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
  • Follow safety procedures, company policies, and local plumbing codes.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • On time - punctual and dependable.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, heights, etc.).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous construction or maintenance experience.

Work Environment

  • Work may be performed in residential homes, commercial buildings, or construction sites.
  • May require travel between job sites.

Career Path

Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to becoming a Plumber, sewer tech, install tech or sales roles.
