What You Can ExpectAs a Retail Operations Analyst I, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our billing processes while gaining in-depth knowledge of the products we offer. You'll have the opportunity to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns, contributing directly to the success of our operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with both independent and cross-functional teams on critical billing functions and work closely with third-party vendors to deliver exceptional customer service to our internal and external clients. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports directly to the Manager of Retail Operations.Ensure accurate and timely billing for Retail C&I customers and resolve billing disputesCollaborate on projects to improve billing, customer experience, and reporting processesImplement and maintain quality control measures for outgoing invoicesSupport cross-functional teams and maintain compliance with regulatory standardsWhat You'll BringYou hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field, or four (4) years directly relevant experience in lieu of degreeThis is an entry-level position where prior experience is not required, but you will be expected to develop analytical skills in a business environment. Exposure to sales or customer service settings could be advantageousYou have direct exposure to billing and operations across multiple marketsYou possess strong knowledge of retail energy operations and regulatory standardsYou have knowledge with SQL, macros, and MS Access, along with advanced proficiency in MS Office SuiteYou are an excellent communicator with keen attention to detailYou are reliable, ethical, and capable of working independently or as part of a teamAdditional DetailsThis role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of a minimum three (3) days in the office at the Houston, TX officeMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensationSalary Range: $49,200 – $75,325 USD annuallyThis represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
