Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description
DreamWorks Animation is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Employee Engagement Team.
Responsibilities: "What would you say you do here?"
- Manage calendars for a busy employee engagement team (events, communications)
- Print and collate documents
- Reserve conference rooms and schedule meetings
- Coordinate visitor requests
- Prepare expense reports and reconcile invoices and credit card statements
- Take team meeting notes
- Assist in event planning: conduct research, identify trends, and pitch activations to the team
- Facilitate event set-up
- Procure decorations, make playlists and assist in designing fliers, invites and signage
- Track and distribute items for onboarding and recognition programs (new hire orientation, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.)
- Track and administer in-kind donations (swag, gift baskets, etc.)
- Track and report event data
- Assist in distributing swag to employees
- Maintain event supplies, swag reserves and storage areas
- Regularly update both digital and physical internal communication channels
- Assist employees with general inquiries and refer them to appropriate resources as needed
- Serve as an ambassador for the office, the department, and the company
Qualifications
Basic Requirements: "What do I need to have in order to do this job?"
- Demonstrable design skills (proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator is required)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, professionalism, follow-through, and pride in work
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft O365 Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
Desired Characteristics: "What can I offer?"
- A keen interest in planning events to build and maintain company culture
- Background in event planning and/or club involvement
- Previous professional experience in the entertainment industry and an interest in animation
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
