Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Work Type: Hybrid (on-site training required until fully trained)

Job Summary

Responsible for processing high-volume internal payroll, reviewing timecards, handling terminations and retro pay adjustments, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax processing. Supports data entry, contract review, and payroll issue resolution.

Education

  • Associate's Degree required
  • Preferred: at least one accounting course and/or Payroll Professional Certification

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience (4 years preferred)
  • Experience with Oracle and UKG systems
  • Multi-state payroll tax processing
  • Experience in hospital or medical clinic settings preferred
  • Experience with data collection, entry, termination disputes, and retro pay adjustments

Skills

  • Proficient in basic Excel and arithmetic
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to solve payroll issues and understand deductions (voluntary and government-mandated)
  • Ability to work well with peers and management

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
