Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and expanding our market presence through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in outside sales, management, and business development, with a focus on B2B sales and territory management. You will be responsible for engaging potential clients, conducting product demos, and fostering long-term customer relationships to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research
- Manage and grow existing client accounts via account management strategies
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients
- Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize sales opportunities
- Engage in direct sales efforts across various channels including inside and outside sales
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue streams
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns for lead generation
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and industry trends to provide expert advice during customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and relationship building
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for lead tracking and analysis
- Excellent communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple accounts effectively
- Knowledge of marketing strategies related to lead generation and business development
- Experience in technology sales or technical sales is preferred but not required
- Strong analysis skills to interpret market data and identify new opportunities
- Ability to manage territory sales efficiently through strategic planning and execution
- Prior experience in retail sales or inside sales is advantageous but not mandatory
