Hilltip North America is now hiring Welders/Fabricators in Fort Wayne and the surrounding areas

Industrial Truck Beds by Hilltip offers excellent product support and takes pride in its workmanship and consistency of product. We provide our customers with quality truck bodies that will outperform similarly spec'd products from other manufacturers.

Come join us at our brand new 100,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled manufacturing facility We are always looking for good people to join our team of professionals; MIG welding experience and the ability to read printed diagrams is heavily preferred, but not a complete deal-breaker.

WELDER/FABRICATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Fabricate pre-designed pieces for truck bodies using common metalworking tools (angle grinder, plasma cutter, drill, flap disc, etc.)

  • Cut, fit, and weld pieces of truck bodies together to create a functional and finished product within nominal specifications.

  • Translate dimensions from a build sheet, blueprint, or verbal instructions to ensure the product is built correctly.

  • Assist in other departments when needed.

ATTENDANCE IS A KEY REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION

Our work schedule is family-friendly; Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
