Are you a skilled welder who thrives on building big, bold structures?  Lindmark Companies is looking for a Fabrication Welder to help shape the future of outdoor advertising by fabricating and assembling billboard structures that stand tall across the region.

Our Fabrication Welders are at the heart of our production team and are responsible for:

  • Welding steel and aluminum components using MIG, Stick, and TIG techniques.
  • Reading blueprints and welding symbols to bring designs to life.
  • Performing layout, fit-up, and  fabrication of billboard parts.
  • Inspecting weld for strength, accuracy, and quality.
  • Operating fabrication tools including grinders, torches, and cutting equipment.
  • Assisting with billboard installation and repairs (occasional travel required).
  • Maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping your workspace safe and organized.

Requirements

Required skills, and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, welding technical training preferred.
  • 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience (structural or heavy steel ideal).
  • Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding; TIG experience a bonus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and craftsmanship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 100 lbs. and work in all weather conditions.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like kneeling, bending, and reaching.
  • Good vision and motor coordination for precision welding.
