Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. This role requires a focus on enhancing guest experiences while managing front office staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while handling reservations and inquiries.
- Oversee night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to maintain high standards of hospitality and guest relations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel or resort.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, preferences, and feedback to enhance future interactions.
- Implement strategies to improve guest services and overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management with a focus on front office operations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with night audit processes and experience in managing front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
