Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. This role requires a focus on enhancing guest experiences while managing front office staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while handling reservations and inquiries.
  • Oversee night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to maintain high standards of hospitality and guest relations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel or resort.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, preferences, and feedback to enhance future interactions.
  • Implement strategies to improve guest services and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management with a focus on front office operations.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with night audit processes and experience in managing front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
