Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
  • Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling duties, including operating the cash register.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and ensuring product displays are well-maintained.
  • Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for all customers, including those who may require bilingual assistance.

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Experience with retail math concepts will be beneficial in processing transactions accurately.
  • A background in upselling or product demonstrations is a plus but not mandatory.
