KDKA-TV/CBS News Pittsburgh seeks an ambitious intern with a passion for journalism, video production, and social media to join our award-winning news and creative services teams. You will learn all aspects of television news journalism, studio and on-location production, commercial production, digital, and more. With this opportunity, the right candidate will be exposed to numerous career paths in the journalism, production and creative services fields. Responsibilities: The intern will learn how a news department operates and provides news coverage of the Pittsburgh region. The intern may be assigned to a variety of areas such as news, sports, weather, digital content, the assignment desk, or the tape library. Interns will have the opportunity to observe work in the field alongside reporters and photographers.

Qualifications:

• Good computer skills, excellent written skills and verbal communication abilities.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency.

Eligibility:

• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master's students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
