Position Overview

Bellesini Academy seeks a passionate and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our middle school faculty. This position can be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability and the school's needs.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic educator with a strong background in mathematics instruction and a commitment to inspiring a love of learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving in students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach four sections of Math (grades 7–8) five times per week.
  • Teach Religion
  • Provide academic support and small-group instruction throughout the week.
  • Opportunity to participate in and support the after-school enrichment program, which may include academic tutoring, clubs, or other co-curricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive, student-centered learning environment aligned with the school's mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Teaching experience in middle school mathematics; experience with honors or accelerated math programs strongly preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to support the mission and values of Bellesini Academy.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Full-Time: Standard school hours (approximately 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM), including after-school commitments.
  • Salary is commensurate with experience and position level.
