We are looking for a meticulous Credit Analyst to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this Contract to Permanent position, you will play a critical role in assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial data, and supporting lending decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to a dynamic team while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:


• Evaluate and analyze credit applications by entering, updating, and retrieving relevant information.


• Assess the creditworthiness of applicants by conducting detailed reviews of financial data and cash flow.


• Perform cash flow analyses for businesses to determine potential risks associated with extending credit.


• Calculate financial ratios to assess the level of risk for financial institutions when offering loans or credit.


• Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory protocols throughout all credit evaluations.


• Respond to inquiries from lenders, providing accurate and timely information.


• Review proposals and provide guidance to less experienced team members, addressing their questions effectively.


• Assist in company and client audits by preparing and presenting necessary financial documentation.


• Proven experience in credit analysis, including evaluating and processing credit applications.


• Strong understanding of commercial credit and collections processes.


• Ability to analyze financial statements and perform detailed cash flow assessments.


• Knowledge of financial ratios and their application in assessing credit risk.


• Experience in commercial collections and credit-related decision-making.


• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in lending practices.


• Excellent communication skills to interact with lenders and team members effectively.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing audits and documentation.
