Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Express Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your expertise in automotive service will help align customer expectations with the capabilities of our service department, enhancing overall satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services offered other maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist customers in understanding necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Prepare accurate auto estimating for services required, ensuring transparency in pricing.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions in the service management system.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Stay informed about new automotive technologies and service techniques to provide the best advice to customers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive service or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of various vehicle systems.
  • Familiarity with auto estimating processes and automotive sales practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, aligning efforts with service technicians and management.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
