Compensation: Position is paid and also available for course credit

Overview

The SPORTFIVE Golf Events Division provides management and consulting services to over 30 professional events. SPORTFIVE is looking for a Tournament Services Intern for the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is a PGA TOUR event hosted at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, SC the week of May 4-10, 2026. This position is responsible for assisting in all tournament services areas and will work under the guidance of the Tournament Services Manager and Tournament Staff to assist with various events, projects, and tasks. Interns will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and hands-on-experience in the fast-paced world of sports and live events in relation to SPORTFIVE and the PGA Tour.

Job Duties:

• Support staff and volunteers with the physical preparation of Volunteer Headquarters as well as off-site volunteer locations
• Temporary set-up and tear-down of volunteer uniform distribution services as well as food distribution at off-site locations
• Track and inventory tournament assets such as golf carts, radios, signage, and other supplies
• Assist with special events including Volunteer Uniform Pick-Up, Volunteer Training, Tuesday Pairings Party, and Wednesday Pro-Am
• Assist with Tournament Office set-up and logistics including food, transportation and uniform distribution
• Support of charity activation events
• Assist with Opening and Closing Ceremonies as well as Honorary Observers Program
• Help with load-in and load-out of vendor partners as needed
• General clean-up and preparation of tournament hospitality areas
• Assist PGA Tour Staff and Players with tournament-specific projects and issues

Additional Details:

• Staff meals and uniform shirts will be provided during tournament week
• Interns must provide their own housing and transportation
• Must be available to work 12+ hours per day during tournament week (May 4-10)
• Must be available all days May 3-11, 2026. Special exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
