Job Title: Account Executive Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Director of Account Services FLSA Status: Exempt
Shift: Remote/Hybrid-1 Day in office Wage Range: $75,000-$100,000

Job Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships while ensuring the successful execution of direct mail and commercial print projects. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams—including customer service, estimating, scheduling, operations, outsourcing, accounting, and finance—as well as external production and logistics partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring alignment of client needs and expectations with Nahan's deliverables and performance.
Document and communicate customer requirements, SLAs, and project specifications to internal teams, including customer service, operations, estimating, scheduling, and outsourcing.
Collaborate with Sales to develop production, scheduling, and pricing strategies that meet client and business objectives.
Create, request, and manage estimates and job bookings for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Develop and oversee print production timelines, managing projects from contract execution to final production, mailing, and in-home delivery.
Partner with Sales and Account Managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination within the Account Services team.
Present production and postal strategies persuasively, advising clients on formats, timelines, pricing, and material availability, and ensuring timely communication of any changes.
Organize and manage client-related agendas, meetings, and notes, ensuring follow-ups and action items are addressed.
Support Sales, Account Directors, and leadership in sales forecasting and business planning.
Assist with the new customer onboarding process, including paperwork, credit applications, MSAs, NDAs, and account setup.
Oversee client invoices and continuously seek opportunities to improve account profitability.
Conduct industry competitive reviews using Nahan's research tools to provide insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop RFP responses, sales materials, sample pack distribution, and promotional content.
Attend handoff meetings between creative, account management, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Act as an escalation point for client concerns, proactively addressing issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
Keep the supervisor informed of any client dissatisfaction or performance concerns that could impact the business relationship.
Perform other tasks assigned to support business objectives
Skills and Abilities Required:
Be accountable for delivering all services and materials on time and within budget, while continuously identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Requires the ability to interpret client needs, lead discussions, and effectively communicate Nahan's printing and mailing solutions.
Ability to play a key role in pricing and contract negotiations, working in partnership with Sales and Account Services leadership.
Have and maintain the skills and abilities to build strong client partnerships by providing strategic insights into printing and mailing solutions, ensuring seamless project execution, and delivering a high level of account service.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze challenges and implement effective solutions.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salesforce, eCRM, or similar CRM System knowledge.
Proficiency in the English Language, both verbally and written.
Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
Associate's degree in marketing, Business, Graphic Arts, or a related field, required.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Graphic Arts, or a related field, preferred.
5+ years' experience in the direct mail and/or commercial printing industry.
3-5 years of experience in client services, account management or sales.
Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-million-dollar direct mail or printing accounts, preferred.
Experience in the financial management aspect of a book of business, including forecasting revenue, costs, profitability margins, invoicing, etc., preferred.

This job operates in a hybrid office environment with exposure to a Manufacturing environment on occasion. While performing the duties of this job inside and outside the manufacturing facility/office setting, the employee is frequently exposed to normal to moderate working conditions for a hybrid office and manufacturing facility with a noise level that is usually quiet - moderate with minimal to some interruptions. The role routinely uses office equipment, software and hardware.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, type, write and be exposed to regular meetings, both virtually and in person. The employee may be required to stand/sit for long periods of time as well as use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is sometimes required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will regularly lift 25lbs or more at a time. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. Employees must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.
Occasionally while performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces. The nose level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection.
