Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your responsibilities will include operating the cash register, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our family restarunt environment.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
  • Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining a clean store environment.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
  • Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers to customers.
  • Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of restaurant store products and services to assist customers effectively.
  • Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cashiering duties and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
  • Experience with merchandising and stocking is a plus.
