I. JOB SUMMARY: The Planning Manager's primary responsibility is to plan program services for a caseload of clients, based on their individual needs, and within the overall goals and philosophy of the agency.
Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary liaison to all IDT members, engaging in a positive and professional working relationship with them.
Developing and maintaining all Service Support Plan documents including but not limited to the Client Service Profile and Individual Outcomes
Completing quarterly and annual reporting per requirements for an assigned caseload.
Attending all team meetings, including annual reviews, quarterly meetings and special team meetings if requested.
Assessing client needs and addressing via positive support programming and/or address concerns with the team.
Participating in Intake Meetings for clients who will be added to the assigned caseload.
Completing discharge summaries for clients who will be discharged from the assigned caseload.
Supervising and conducting performance appraisals for supervisees as assigned.
Supervising vocational contracts if applicable, including accurate payroll recording.
Serving as an integral part of WorkAbilities management team by supporting administrative decisions and assisting in the supervision of all agency staff.
Using established communication channels to keep administration informed on program and client status.
Providing necessary supervision of clients during daily activities and covering for Program Technicians when needed to cover staff absences or breaks.
Promoting a positive team atmosphere with all WorkAbilities employees.
Providing leadership to Program Technicians via daily role modeling, coaching and training.
Attending, facilitating and actively participating in staff and manager meetings as well as agency inservices.
Providing feedback as appropriate regarding personnel issues to the Area Manager.
Supporting Area Manager in staff orientation, training, supervision and group structure by exploring ways to challenge and promote increased responsibility and investment for Program Technicians while identifying areas of weakness and ways to effectively help staff meet performance expectations.
Supporting the Area Manager in ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Supporting the Area Manager in ensuring that the environment is safe and well-maintained.
Assisting the Area Manager in maintaining current medication orders, protocols and medication supplies and possessing a good working knowledge of all special medical or health needs of individual clients.
Assisting the Area Manager in conducting formal reviews of staff schedules and assigned responsibilities.
Participating in late bussing as assigned.
Adhering to attendance expectations.
Carrying out any additional responsibilities that may be assigned.
HOURS: Managers will work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Position's schedule corresponds to program schedule; number of annual work days determined by each year's program calendar.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Baccalaureate Degree in relevant field (psychology, therapeutic recreation, social
work, etc.)
- Minimum of 1 year experience (employment, internships, volunteer) in the field
of disabilities.
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
