Stepping Stones Therapy, Inc., a leading pediatric private practice, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our multidisciplinary team. This position is part-time and focused on providing after-school therapy services to children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to support children's development in areas such as fine motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, coordination, and functional independence.
  • Collect data, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Educate and support families with strategies and home programs to promote skill carryover.
  • Collaborate with Speech and Physical Therapists to ensure comprehensive, team-based care.

Qualifications

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
  • Current California license (or eligibility).
  • Prior pediatric experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Schedule

  • Part-Time Hours: 2:30 or 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
