About Us: Body Fit Training is a fitness studio in Redondo Beach focused on creating an energetic and supportive community where our members can thrive focusing on group strength training classes. We're looking for a creative and motivated team member to join us in growing our digital presence while also supporting our studio operations day to day.

Position Overview: We're seeking a Part-Time Social Media Assistant & Front Desk Associate to work directly with our Marketing Director. This is a hybrid role that combines content creation/marketing (70%) with front desk/customer service responsibilities (30%). Also with the possibility of traveling locally to community events and collaborations.

The ideal candidate is creative, coachable, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to both our digital marketing efforts and our in-studio member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Social Media (70%)

  • Capture and create engaging content (photo, video, reels, stories) in-studio and at local events

  • Support content planning, posting, and community engagement across social media platforms

  • Assist with grassroots marketing initiatives to drive awareness and new leads

  • Collaborate on digital campaigns, promotions, and giveaways

  • Represent the brand at community events and assist with booth setup/teardown

  • Weekend events will be optional, and we will provide at least two weeks' notice to confirm availability

Front Desk & Studio Support (30%)

  • Open and close the studio as scheduled

  • Greet members and provide excellent customer service

  • Handle member check-ins and basic inquiries

  • Maintain clean towels, supplies, and an inviting lobby area

  • Provide general administrative support to studio staff

Requirements:

  • Access to a 4K camera or high-quality video equipment

  • Strong creativity and eye for engaging social media content

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional local travel

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Willingness to be coachable and take direction

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Customer service experience preferred

Schedule & Hours:

  • 10–15 hours per week

  • Must be available for some evenings/weekends to support events and studio hours (with two-week notice for weekend events)

Compensation:

  • $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

  • Credited membership at Body Fit Training
