Business Development Manager

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Salary: $80,000-$100,000 base plus commissions ($125,000-$200,000 total earnings potential)

Mason Reconstruction is a general contractor specializing in multifamily, HOA, and commercial reconstruction projects across Southern California. We handle complex repairs that require experience, precision, and accountability — from building envelope failures and waterproofing to full-scale defect reconstruction.

The Role

We're looking for a Business Development representative who understands how to build strong, lasting relationships in the reconstruction and defect repair world. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities, managing key accounts, and helping drive Mason Reconstruction's continued growth.

You'll represent a team known for its professionalism and follow-through, and you'll help ensure that every new relationship begins and ends with trust.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, HOA boards, construction managers, and attorneys.
  • Identify new project opportunities within the reconstruction and defect repair markets.
  • Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to ensure scope accuracy, realistic expectations, and smooth handoffs.
  • Attend walkthroughs, client meetings, and industry events to represent Mason Reconstruction.
  • Manage your pipeline and follow-ups through our CRM.
  • Maintain open communication with clients from first contact through project completion.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in construction, building services, or related industries.
  • Proven success developing B2B relationships and closing project-based work.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, estimating, or project management.
  • Experience working with HOAs, multifamily owners, or construction defect projects preferred.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and construction software.
