What You'll Get To Do:
The Demand Analyst will lead design architecture inside Anaplan Demand Planning module, and design supporting visual reports via Microsoft Power BI linked to Microsoft AZURE datasets. The end goal is to provide key insights via forecasting data services to meet the needs for our Sales and Product Management groups. In addition, the Demand Senior Analyst will coordinate and host monthly meetings with Sales and Product Management teams to solidify a sales forecast.
Development and Coding
- Develop, maintain, and optimize demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market trends in Anaplan's system software
- Use Data Science to analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations by gathering data from multiple sources and using various tools, data visualization, and techniques (Excel pivot tables, Azure SQL, Python, PowerBI, Azure Data Explorer, R coding, MS Copilot)
- Produce PowerBI paginated reports and dashboards, and presentations communicating key findings and insights to stakeholders
Analytics
- Conduct sales channel and macro trend research in alignment with data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that can inform business decisions and forecast analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand planning and inventory management
- Conduct root cause analysis for forecast inaccuracies and develop strategies for continuous improvement
Collaborate
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product departments to understand their needs and requirements and develop insights and solutions that align with overall business goals
- Identify and communicate potential supply chain risks and opportunities based on demand forecasts
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings, answer questions, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Continuously learn and develop new skills and knowledge in the field of Demand Planning data science. Perform other duties as assigned.

Scope
- Work with Anaplan Solutions Architects to either directly build or lead 3rd party contractors to the end-to-end design of an Anaplan Model.
- Efficiently operate inside Microsoft Power BI to build data visualizations.
- Ability to run a project utilizing the Agile Implementation Methodology.
- Clear ability to teach internal resources with no prior Anaplan knowledge how to interact with the Anaplan platform.
- Enhance Panasonic's process as the Forecasting Subject Matter Expert.
- Ability to have difficult conversations with internal data resources managers about scope and timeline to ensure a project's timeline is on track and within budget.
- Ability to effectively lead external 3rd party consultants.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, and/or Management Information Systems required
- 3-5 years of experience in Consulting or Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Strong knowledge of product sales forecasting processes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI data visualization software
- Strong understanding of Multi-Dimensional data architecture
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Office Suite expertise
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in building and managing data solutions using Power BI and Azure services, designing and managing Azure SQL tables and Azure data storage.
- Proficiency in Python coding.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Experience with demand planning systems such as Anaplan or in machine learning forecasting and predictive analytics is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Communications
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multi-task

- Basic knowledge of sales forecasting.

The wage range of $82,000 - $87,000 is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
