Job Title: Document Control Analyst
Job Function: Document Control
Reports to: Document Control Manager

Job Overview: In coordination with internal groups, the Document Control Analyst manages documentation of engineering changes in product development, production, and repairs to ensure data accuracy, integrity of documentation systems, and optimum manufacturing process. Reports to Document Control Manager.  Located in Newark, CA.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect and review for accuracy data from Engineering and Program Management Teams
  • Initiate and manage Change Order process
  • Create and release part numbers in Product Management System (PLM)
  • Create, analyze and release Bills of Material (BOMs) 
  • Analyze, process and monitor Change Order submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation C
  • Coordinate approval and disposition/action workflows of Change Order management with stakeholders
  • Facilitate creation, release and maintenance of product and process documentation (Engineering, manufacturing, Life Cycle Change Orders) in Oracle PLM system.
  • Reviews documents for accuracy and ensures documents meet the company's standards.
  • Implement best practices for documenting and streamlining change cycle.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in performing Document Control function in Contract Manufacturing environment and/or Engineering environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in PLM (Product Life Cycle) system, Oracle PLM Cloud and Oracle ERP is a plus.
  • Understanding BOM's structure, PCBA and Electrical components.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products, Excel is a MUST (Vlookup, HLookup, Pivot table…)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
