Summary:

The Marketing Specialist role assists in and supports all aspects of development and distribution of marketing materials while collaborating with teams to enhance brand awareness. This role requires a strong creative, proactive, detail and deadline oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions – The Core Responsibilities of this job.

Branding Best Practices

  • Plan and execute initiatives to support various business units reaching target internal and external audiences through appropriate channels such as email, social media, presentation materials, etc.
  • Provide, create and execute ideas, awareness and content for advertisements, newsletters, website, intranet, social media and publications
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns that promote a positive public image
  • Update electronic sign to promote and reflect positive messages

Marketing Administrative Duties

  • Assist in marketing activities, tours, advertising and event planning by demonstrating expertise in various areas of development and optimization
  • Collaborate with management to coordinate, update and manage all mailings and client contact lists
  • Proofread all marketing materials, reviews and confirm information, data and photos for accuracy prior to posting
  • Update company website as needed

Team Collaboration

  • Assist Human Resources by creating wellness mailers, handouts and various other advertisements as needed
  • Contribute to MBCH efforts by organizing marketing materials, maintaining schedules, deadlines, appointments and accomplishing related tasks for management
  • Establish a user friendly file hierarchy on computer enabling others to recover or locate all needed information
  • Participate in team and educational meetings or trainings

Business Relationships

  • Serve as liaison with external vendors and marketing firms to assist with ordering of promotional items, business cards, calendars, notepads, stationary, etc., as well as assist with the execution of events and campaigns
  • Respect and maintain privacy and confidentiality of employees, customers and vendors at all times

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Expectations

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Active drone license
  • Software experience including but not limited to: Hootsuite, Canva, VN or Capcut
  • Customer focused with outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and highly professional
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point

Working Conditions:

  • This position is based in an office environment with some site visit requirements
  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working in diverse environments
  • Travel is required approximately 15% of the time, including to project sites, satellite offices or for company-wide training and development initiatives
  • Occasional extended hours or adjusted work schedules may be necessary to support deadlines
  • Ability to work with occasional exposure to dirty and dusty conditions and extreme weather
