Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management review.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VBA, to analyze data efficiently.
  • Develop financial models to support investment banking and corporate finance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for cost accounting and strategic planning.
  • Employ business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Perform quantitative research to inform decision-making processes.
  • Analyze profit & loss statements and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Maintain proficiency in ERP systems and Hyperion for effective data management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in governmental accounting and corporate accounting.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VBA, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Bloomberg, and other financial software for analytics and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts such as cost accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, and financial planning.
  • Excellent skills in data collection, quantitative analysis, and business analysis.
  • Ability to create compelling data visualizations that communicate complex information clearly.
  • Strong mathematical skills with a focus on accuracy in financial modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise financial report writing.
