Background:

Tianyu Arts & Culture Inc. is the leading producer of festival lights with offices in China, the U.S. and Europe. We host large scale events in various venues in different states across the U.S. We're now looking for aspiring individuals to join a growing team to bring our lights to a bigger audience.

Purpose:

The Onsite Project Coordinator oversees the onsite logistics and set up for individual projects from inception to completion. The Onsite Project Coordinator must be able to coordinate projects in accordance with budget and timeline while complying and direct work crews, equipments, materials, logistics and subcontractors.

As an Onsite Project Coordinator, you will be working BOTH onsite in different cities in the U.S. and remotely at home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist in developing the overall project budget and timeline;

* Review and understand layout and proposals of each project, and conduct proper quality control inspection after the event setup;

* Arrange onsite logistics for the Chinese artisans, including but not limited to local accommodation, daily commute, work tools/materials and grocery purchase;

* Assist with project domestic shipping, including package shipping, full truck load shipping, loading in and out from company's warehouses;

*Onsite interpretation and document translation between business partners or third party vendors and the Chinese artisans.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Minimum of a B.S. Degree, preferably with a background in civil engineering, art administration, business management or other related fields

* Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills;

* High degree of skill in managing multiple objectives, clients, contractors, third parties and internal team members.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and native level in Chinese are essential for this role

* A valid driver's license

* Ability to travel for work for extended period of time (at least one month) is essential for this role.
