Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-service-focused Permit Technician to join our team. This role is primarily administrative and will involve handling permit applications, assisting applicants with the process, answering questions, and managing document filing. This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process, and log permit applications in the system
  • Provide clear and accurate information to applicants regarding permit requirements and procedures
  • Answer general inquiries about the permitting process via phone, email, and in person
  • File and maintain permit documentation according to company and county guidelines
  • Ensure organized and accurate record-keeping for all permit applications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, ideally in a permitting, construction, or government setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a role requiring a high level of organization and customer service
