Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high standard of patient care. This position requires a compassionate individual who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or medical facility
  • Assist with patient intake processes, including gathering medical history and conducting preliminary assessments.

Skills

  • Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding basic anatomy knowledge.
  • Experience or knowledge in areas OR (geriatrics, internal medicine, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor during emergencies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
