Role Overview
The Operations Manager / General Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing financial performance, and leading teams across multiple masonry repair and restoration projects. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Masonry Repair & Restoration division.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
- Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field crews.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Implement and enforce safety programs, quality control, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and execute business strategies to expand service offerings and increase market share in the Atlanta region.
- Oversee vendor, subcontractor, and supplier relationships to ensure effective project delivery.
- Provide accurate reporting on operational performance, forecasts, and KPIs to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in construction operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or general management role.
- Strong background in masonry repair, restoration, or related specialty contracting is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L oversight and business growth.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
