The Part-Time Resident Engagement Services Coordinator (RSC) position for this opening leads the implementation and coordination of programs and services for families and individuals at a 105-unit affordable housing community in the Takoma neighborhood in Northwest DC. Takoma Place is a recently renovated community with a beautiful community center that has a full kitchen, billiard table, and other amenities to support resident engagement and needs.

This position is part-time, 20 hours per week, during traditional workweek (Mon-Friday) and work hours (between 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM), with the occasional weekend work for special community events. The RSC partners with residents to gather community input/feedback, conducts an annual property strengthens/needs assessments, investigates local community resources, and coordinates the delivery of programs and services for children, youth, adults, and seniors. The RSC's work will be directed through a consulting relationship with Operation Pathways but will be employed by Winn Companies and will work in collaboration with property management and residents. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a requirment.

The RSC maintains and establishes partnerships with organizations to deliver on-site programming and like opportunities in the property's community center or refers residents to services in the local community. The RSC is responsible for developing and supporting program goals at the site level and ensuring that reports and budgets (when appropriate) are completed and accurate. The RSC may be asked to assist with submissions of funding applications and monitor adherence to contractual agreements. The RSC will work in partnership with the site property management team and residents to assist with housing stability and to provide services referrals to residents to meet their needs or desires. The RSC is responsible for managing programmatic outcomes as directed by Operation Pathways. A large part of the role is community outreach and will require the RSC to conduct weekly wellness checks, consistent door-to-door outreach, taking the lead in supporting services and events offered at the site.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of human services experience and a minimum bachelor's degree. Candidates without a bachelors degree should have 3-5 years of experience working in human services with clients who Spanish speakers.
