Counter Person – Parts/Rental (Dual Role)

Rental Counter Duties
  • Manage a fleet of Bobcat track loaders, excavators, and attachments.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right equipment and attachments for their needs.
  • Inspect, clean, and prepare equipment to ensure it's rental-ready.
  • Check in returned equipment and coordinate necessary repairs or servicing.
  • Review rental reports and work with the Branch Manager to maximize profitability.
  • Schedule and coordinate transportation for rental equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of trailers and related assets.
  • Promote safe operation and handling of all rental equipment.
  • Provide an exceptional rental experience, both independently and as part of a team.
Parts Counter Duties
  • Assist walk-in and phone customers with parts selection in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Rental departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and process special orders as needed.
  • Support the Parts Manager in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with administrative tasks.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
