DMC has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated Project Manager with 5 + years' experience working on commercial construction projects. This dynamic position requires the ability to coordinate estimating efforts & manage construction projects with variable delivery methods (Lump Sum, Design Build, CM, etc) from preconstruction to closeout. In this role, we are looking for self- motivated individuals who can be a valuable long-term asset in growing our Construction division and mentor the next generation of builders alongside them.

The Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership in (3) major aspects of project controls: budget, schedule, and personnel management.
  • Coordinate with estimators to establish project budgets to include General
  • Conditions/Requirements through takeoffs, internal estimating, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Review and assess all bid documents, including RFPs, Drawings & Specifications
  • Develop subcontractor scopes of work to better align trades and reduce scope gap.
  • Receive and Analyze subcontractor/supplier proposals & select partners based on best value.
  • Identify, manage, and maintain relationships with subcontractors.
  • Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, end users, etc. as required by overall construction effort.
  • Maintain project log and documentation files of project correspondence, including but not limited to: RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, etc
  • Assist in preparing project plans including but not limited to: H&S Safety Plan,Site Logistics Plan, Quality Management Plan, Safety Plan, Preliminary

Construction Schedules,

  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or Equivalent
  • Estimating and project management experience of at least 5-8 years on commercial TI/new construction projects
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing project teams and establishing/maintaining customer relationships
  • Experience in working with field personnel (i.e. Site Superintendent) to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
