We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex projects in the heavy MEP civil, water, wastewater, and environmental sectors. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and meticulous planning to navigate the technical detail and coordination required in these markets.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery-from detailed scheduling and resource management to budget control and quality assurance-while working with minimal supervision. A critical part of your role will be building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in managing large-scale, detail-intensive infrastructure projects, with the ability to balance technical demands and client expectations to deliver successful outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resource Management: Collaborate with superintendents and the management team to allocate personnel and materials effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization to meet project goals.
  • Priority Setting: Establish and continuously adjust project priorities, reallocating resources as needed to meet critical deadlines and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Clearly define roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders and ensure alignment and accountability across project teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key project performance metrics, identifying variances early and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and functional leads to align resources with deliverables and maintain cohesive execution.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project performance issues promptly, removing barriers to maintain momentum and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Execution Strategy: Develop and oversee comprehensive project execution plans-including risk management, communication strategies, change control, and quality assurance.
  • Project Reviews: Conduct regular project assessments and provide timely, accurate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent and transparent communication with clients, team members, and leadership to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and drive progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution (preferred).
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and process development skills, with a track record of implementing effective procedures and workflows.
  • Solid understanding of construction and engineering operations, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data automation tools, project management software, and standard business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, and other data management programs).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and interact effectively at all organizational levels.
