Rapids Ford is currently looking for a Sales Manager to come aboard and grow with our rapidly expanding dealership. We are looking for a high energy, outgoing applicant who is receptive to new ideas and concepts. Previous dealership Sales Management experience is PREFERRED, but not required. We are offering competitive pay, a full benefits package and a 5-day workweek
Responsibilities
- Hire, train & manage sales team
- Conduct daily team meetings & train salespeople
- Perform daily one-on-one interactive meetings with each salesperson
- Overseeing the productivity & growth of the Internet Sales Team
- Completing the process of selling, desking & closing sales
- Attending to customer issues & driving a high level of customer satisfaction
- Overseeing standards for the facility & vehicle inventory
- Managing the supply, inventory, & marketability of new/used vehicles
- Vehicle appraisals
- Review goals, forecasts & monthly results with the General Manager
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Outgoing & friendly personality, especially while handling objections
- Strong interpersonal & communications skills one-on-one & over the phone
- Persuasive & able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
- Proficient in basic business math including percentages
- Capable of learning & using basic Microsoft Office, accounting software, & proprietary sales programs
- Persistent, competitive & good work ethic
- Experience as a Sales Manager in an automotive dealership setting is a plus
