  • Hire, train, and supervise on-field promotions and marketing interns.

Pre-Game Activities & Themed Events

  • Organize extensive pregame entertainment for a minimum of 6 home games, which may include concerts, marching bands, choir performances, Pom Pom squads, jugglers, and more.
  • Collaborate with full-time staff to create and implement immersive, themed experiences that enhance fan engagement.

Fan Feedback & Satisfaction

  • Engage with fans during and after games to gather feedback on their experience.
  • Conduct post-game surveys using the Net Promoter Score (NPS) system to assess the fan experience.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Ticket Sales to follow up with fans who give an NPS score of 6 or below to resolve concerns and improve retention.
  • Celebrate positive feedback by collaborating with the Director of Creative Services to share fan testimonials and comments online.

Community Outreach

  • Serve as a team ambassador, greeting fans at entry and thanking them as they exit the ballpark.
  • Lead the Rafters' community outreach efforts, including organizing school reading programs and appearances in the community.
  • Coordinate and execute non-league events (e.g., special community events, appearances) in collaboration with full-time staff.

Collaboration & Promotion Development

  • Work with the full-time Rafters staff to develop and implement promotional plans for all home games.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Ticket Sales and other team members to boost fan engagement and sales through outstanding experiences and promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in fan engagement, promotions, or live entertainment (sports or event-based industry a plus).
  • High-energy personality with a passion for delivering WOW-worthy fan experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be comfortable engaging with large crowds.
  • Creative thinker with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
  • Experience managing and leading staff or interns is a plus.
