Loan Processor (Potential Growth to Operations Manager)

Location: Remote (CST hours)

Compensation: $52,800 base + performance-based bonuses

About the Role

I am a residential mortgage broker looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor who is organized, proactive, and communicates clearly. You'll manage files from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth closings. For the right person, this role could grow into an Operations Manager position as the business expands.

Responsibilities

  • Review loan applications and documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Work directly with the broker, borrowers, and third parties
  • Coordinate with title, escrow, and lenders to ensure timely closings
  • Maintain detailed records and clear communication throughout each loan
  • Use Microsoft Office (especially Outlook) and be open to using AI tools to improve workflow
  • Keep Loan Operating System (LOS) updated

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in loan processing or related mortgage roles
  • Strong understanding of loan origination and underwriting processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
