Master's Level Mental Health Clinician

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor/Program Director
Job Summary:
The Master's Level Mental Health Clinician provides individual, family, and group therapy to clients experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges. The clinician is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans and behavioral assistance individualized service plans (BAISP), and delivering evidence-based interventions that promote mental health and overall well-being. Services are provided in accordance with professional standards, agency policies, and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans and BAISPs in collaboration with clients and families.
- Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, and/or group) using evidence-based practices.
- Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving strategies.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, schools, and community resources to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
- Active licensure or license-eligible (e.g. LAC, LSW, or equivalent depending on state requirements).
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to provide evening or weekend hours, as needed.
- Bilingual preferred (Arabic, Haitian-Creole, Spanish).
