Kyakameena Care Center is seeking a responsible, fun and energetic Activity Director to be part of a great team. We are passionate about the health and happiness of our residents- people we call family.
The Activity Director is responsible for organizing and coordinating all activity for the residents to ensure all activity in all 6 (six) dimensions of wellness social, physical, occupational, emotional, spiritual and intellectual needs of the residents are met. This person is responsibilities for planning and carrying out all activities, create monthly calendar full of fun and exciting activities to keep our residents happy and healthy from bingo to birthday parties and exercise to entertainment. Responsible for collaborating holiday events and other activities with the families and community. Must have working knowledge of basic, computer and software, must be able to communicate both written and orally in English. This position may require flexible scheduling to meet Activity Department needs in and out of the community and perform other duties as assigned.
