Thanks to our exceptional production depth, we are able to design and produce our timepieces almost entirely in-house.

With over 10,000 square meters of floor space, the modern, generously proportioned manufactory building is a production site and a world of experience at once. The clear structures and transparent materials of the functional architecture reflect the high standards implicit in the "Made in Germany" quality seal. On four floors, corridors link the various ateliers, workshops and departments responsible for production and final assembly.

Glashütte Original upholds a tradition in which handcrafted perfection and select materials are combined with innovative production technologies. As an independent developer and maker of our own movements, we have good reason to call ourselves a "manufactory". It is an ambitious claim: In the process of making watches here, we still perform a great many critical steps by hand – "per manum".

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and manages marketing operating budgets.
  • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail, and experiential channels to drive awareness.
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievements of marketing objectives fall within designated areas.
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitors competitor marketing activities.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of the brand publications.

PROFILE

The Marketing Manager for Glashutte Original is responsible for crafting and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that elevate the Brand's luxury image in global markets. Results driven Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all the marketing strategies while targeting toward existing and new markets for Glashutte Original.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS required with concentration in Marketing.
  • 10+ years of corporate Marketing experience for a global luxury brand.
  • Strong relationships with advertising press and knowledge of all media types.
  • Exceptional written, communication and presentation skills required.
  • Experience working closely with senior level executives.
  • Experience with interacting with international headquarters.
  • Demonstrated successful experience with writing press releases, creating presentations and negotiating with media.
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000
