Location
– 100% remote, but candidates who live local to the Seattle, WA or Miami, Florida areas

Eligibility
– We are not able to offer any type of sponsorship. No 3rd party candidates

Contract Pay Rate - $8,500 - $9350/month
($50-55/hr W2)
DOE – this rate assumes full benefits

Description

As an IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a bridge between business objectives and development solutions for the CLIENT and other lines of business websites. This role requires a deep understanding of each brand's website needs, where you will gather, refine, translate, and groom high-level requirements, rules, and use cases into detailed specifications for the development team. Working closely with Product Managers, Content Authors, UX Designers, ADA specialists, and Analytics teams, you will ensure business goals are met while delivering an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities


• Review High-Level Requirements and collaborate with Product Managers, Content teams, and other stakeholders to understand the scope of proposed projects.


• Review UX designs and collaborate with UX designers.


• Create detailed Jira stories with Acceptance Criteria, including bugs.


• Create business requirements, rules, and functional specification documents for various projects that will incorporate screen designs, use cases, and API updates.


• Lead grooming sessions.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies.


• Support and unblock development teams by answering requirement questions and setting up test data.


• Understand authoring needs to create author instructions for demos.


• From time to time lead other agile ceremonies (ex: standups)


• Work closely with QA/SDET's for testing and requirement clarification

Requirements


• Bachelor's Degree - Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience


•
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a software development business analyst role as well as experience delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment.

Creating Confluence Pages for Documentation


•
Ability to gather requirements and turn into detailed Jira ticket requirements.


• Ability to document business requirements, acceptance criteria and use cases.


• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies


• Presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent communication to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Support development teams


• Collaborate with Product Management, UX and content teams.


• Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.


• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written skills
