Performs special projects as required.The Corporate Accounting and Reporting internship offers individuals an opportunity to become a valued member of the team. The person will gain experience with supporting external financial reporting requirements, delivering monthly accounting tasks, learning accounting systems, working in a team environment, as well as supporting ad hoc projects.During your internship opportunity, you will:Assist the corporate accounting and reporting team with preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.Assist with preparation of supporting documentation and verification of financial amounts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.Analyzes data and reports findings.Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.Completes special projects as required.The first four duties listed are the functions identified as essential to the job.
