Role Description
We are hiring a
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
to join our in-office sales team in
Troy, MI
. This is a phone-based, outbound sales role where you will speak directly with business owners, identify their working capital needs, and guide them through Financial1's Merchant Cash Advance and Flex Advance Line of Capital solutions.
This role is performance-driven and best suited for sales professionals who are comfortable with cold calling, objection handling, and managing conversations from first contact through funding. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with consistent lead flow, clear expectations, and measurable performance goals.
What You'll Do
- Make outbound calls to business owners to identify and qualify funding needs
- Present and explain Merchant Cash Advance and Line of Capital solutions
- Handle objections and control the sales conversation
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through funding
- Maintain follow-ups and an organized sales pipeline
- Work closely with leadership to improve performance and conversion
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in outbound phone sales or cold-calling environments
- Strong ability to qualify prospects and move conversations toward a close
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment
- Clear, confident communication skills and professional phone presence
- Experience in business funding, MCA, commercial lending, mortgages, insurance, or B2B inside sales is a strong plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems and power or predictive dialers preferred
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable with strong follow-through
This is not an entry-level role. Prior cold-calling or phone-based sales experience is required.
