About the Role

We're seeking an independent, goal-driven, and customer-focused Territory Account Manager to join our Sales Team. This role covers Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.

This is your business inside our business — you'll inherit a defined hybrid territory, prioritize key growth zones, and have the autonomy to prospect, develop, and close new opportunities. You'll represent best-in-class foodservice equipment solutions, help operators thrive through RMD's trusted service and support, and grow your earnings through a performance-based compensation plan. You'll work with a mix of national chains, regional operators, and independent businesses, building new relationships while expanding existing ones.

What You'll Do

  • Become a product category expert for all RMD equipment lines.
  • Develop and grow your territory to consistently meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Build long-term relationships with restaurant groups, independent operators, and regional vendors.
  • Make sales calls, identify prospects,and conduct on-site customer visits to uncover new opportunities.
  • Host demos in our RMD Kitchen and represent the brand at regional tradeshows and open houses.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Administrative teams to ensure seamless post-sale support.
  • Manage leads, interactions, and activity daily within our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Provide oversight during delivery, installation, and customer training.

What We're Looking For

  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years proven sales experience (B2B, field sales, or territory management preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (O365).
  • Willingness to travel daily within territory, with overnight stays as needed (very limited).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.\

We also welcome candidates with strong technical or service backgrounds who have deep familiarity with commercial foodservice equipment and want to transition into a sales role. If you've spent years working with operators and understand their challenges firsthand, we'll provide the sales training and support to help you succeed.

Preferred (not required):

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in equipment sales or foodservice industry.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM.

Compensation

  • Weekly paid draw (provides steady pay while commissions build).
  • Monthly car and fuel allowance.
  • Quarterly commission payouts with uncapped earning potential
  • On-target earnings (OTE): $75,000 – $115,000 annually, with additional upside potential for top performers. Top earners regularly exceed this range. Experienced Territory Account Managers within our company can earn $125K+ annually.
