In this hands-on role, you'll support the installation, assembly, and commissioning of critical systems, including UPS, PDUs, ATS, HVAC, generators, and control systems. You'll collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless system integration, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with General, Electrical, and Mechanical Contractors to ensure installations meet company standards.
  • Partner with Engineers to commission and functionally test new systems.
  • Test installed systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure full functionality and performance.
  • Install, assemble, and integrate electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components per drawings and specifications.
  • Perform quality control inspections to verify compliance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate work records and documentation of all systems tested and integrated.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures; report hazards immediately.
  • Support inventory management for tools, supplies, and project materials.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on installed systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools; prior experience with electrical/mechanical systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and procedures.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and around live equipment (with appropriate PPE and supervision).
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel frequently — this role requires up to 80% travel between project sites.
  • Experience with CAD software or a degree/certification in Construction Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field is a plus.
