About the Opportunity

Are you an organized, confident, and people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced dental environment?

Our private dental practice is growing, and we're looking for a Dental Office Manager who can bring leadership, structure, and follow-through to our front office systems.

We recently transitioned from Dentrix to Oryx, and we're seeking someone who can help oversee accounts receivable, insurance follow-ups, treatment plan tracking, and daily office operations to keep the practice running efficiently and profitably.

Office Hours

Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Wednesday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Thursday: 11 AM – 7 PM

Friday: 9 AM – 2 PM

Saturday: 8 AM – 3 PM

Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee front-office operations, scheduling, and patient flow.
  • Manage accounts receivable and insurance claims, ensuring timely collections.
  • Present and follow up on treatment plans with patients.
  • Run and review Oryx reports (AR Aging, Production by Provider, Continuing Care, and Treatment Acceptance).
  • Balance daily deposits and verify accuracy of financial reports.
  • Support doctor and hygienist with recall, reactivation, and patient communication.
  • Prepare weekly KPI snapshots and monthly summaries for the doctor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of dental office management or senior front-desk experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and claim submission.
  • Experience with Oryx or other cloud-based dental PMS is a plus.
  • Confident communicator, team-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Comfortable running reports, managing AR, and ensuring accountability.
