We are looking for a Chemist I to operate under the supervision of our Research & Innovation Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, making, and testing batch and finished products, as well as perform routine and non-routine testing in order to identify any quality or stability issues that need to be corrected. In addition, they would be the main technical representative for a few accounts to respond to their client's emails, status phone calls, and see their product and sampling request through from ideation to production. Responsibilities & Main Activities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Be the technical representative for their assigned client accounts
- Responsible for responding to emails and participating in routine scheduled status update calls.
- Responsible for making routine sample batches following defined protocols & routine equipment for their assigned client accounts.
- Prepare and perform routine and non-routine stability and compatibility tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments
- Calculate test results, and report and document results, some via a computer, and reviewing for accuracy
- Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary
- Be a team player to assist other chemists to help make routine batches for them if necessary, outside of daily tasks.
- Practice safe work habits, including complying with all cGMP, safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations

- Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting making batches following a defined protocol, and performing routine testing
