Job Summary - Arizona
CONDUCT COMPLIANCE INSPECTIONS of underground fueling systems in the State of Arizona: review testing, training, and repair documents, conduct physical inspection of select system components, and work with system owners/operators to help them achieve compliance with AZ statutes and rules. CONDUCT INSPECTIONS of underground fueling system installations, modifications, and closures: work with service providers to ensure work is performed per manufacturer specifications and applicable state/federal regulations and standards. Requires daily travel within Arizona in company-owned vehicle. Occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications: Four+ years' experience in the petroleum storage tank industry as an installer, decommissioner, or tester. Must possess or be able to obtain some of the following certifications: ICC U1/UST Installation/Retrofitting; ICC U2/UST Decommissioning; ICC U3/UST Tank Tightness Testing; ICC U4/UST Cathodic Protection; ICC U5/AST Installation/Retrofitting; NACE or STI Cathodic Protection Certification; STI SP001 AST Inspector Certification; EPA UST Inspector certification; Arizona Class AB certification; OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER or 30-Hour Construction Training Course.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Inspector or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $85,000.00 per year
